Great hospital experience

I had my 2nd child at Banner Thunderbird in June and was very impressed by the nursing staff. Although the recovery rooms are smaller than the suites at some other hospitals I found that the upbeat, supportive attitudes of the staff more than made up for this. They followed my birth plan to a T and I had very good breastfeeding support from the lactation consultants.

Banner Thunderbird is an excellent facility and hosptial. What a great experience! All the staff were really nice and helpful from the nurses all the way down to anyone who passed me in the hall. They are a Magnet hosptial-one of only 200 in the country! This means that they have one of the highest nursing excellence awards possible! I was impressed from beginning to end with this facility and highlty recommend it to anyone and everyone!! Good healthcare is so hard to find-what a nice change to our expectations!!
